STAFF & LEADERSHIP

• Provide leadership and overall coordination for agricultural education in North Carolina

• Lead the eight-member state agricultural education team

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local, state, and national agencies and organizations

• Provide leadership to ensure quality student experiences in classroom/laboratory activities, work-based and experiential learning settings, and leadership development opportunities

• Plan and coordinate FFA activities including State Convention, state CDEs, and leadership conferences

• Coordinate the State Officer team and official chapter visits

• Coordinate the chartering of official North Carolina FFA chapters

• Conduct technical assistance visits to programs

• Assist with program planning and instructional delivery of curriculum

• Coordination of professional development and teacher in-services in the West and Northwest regions

• Recruitment of candidates to pursue teacher certification and graduate degrees

• Conduct technical assistance visits to programs

• Assist with program planning and instructional delivery of curriculum

• Coordination of professional development and teacher in-services in the Northeast, Southeast, and East Central regions

• Recruitment of candidates to pursue teacher certification and graduate degrees

• Conduct technical assistance visits to programs

• Assist with program planning and instructional delivery of curriculum

• Coordination of professional development and teacher in-services in the Southwest, West Central, and South Central regions

• Recruitment of candidates to pursue teacher certification and graduate degrees

• Develop, implement, and maintain all statewide agricultural education curriculum.

• Maintain all curriculum-related resources including but not limited to equipment lists, credentials, certifications, textbooks, and facility guidelines.

• Plan, organize, and conduct an array of professional development opportunities for all agriculture teachers.

• Manage financial transactions and records for Association, Center, Alumni, and regional accounts

• Coordinate NC FFA Foundation gifts

• Process NC FFA Foundation scholarships

• Provide support for the NC FFA Foundation Director of Development

• Manage membership and new teacher/chapter requests via ffa.org

• Coordinate public rental groups at the NC FFA Center

• Coordinate CDE, LDE, and event registration

• Coordinate FFA Camp and SLC registration at the NC FFA Center

• Assist State FFA Coordinator with event planning

• Website and Social Media management

• Corporate and individual sponsoring of state activities
