NC FFA Center Camp Counselors Needed

The North Carolina FFA Association is now accepting applications for camp counselors for the State FFA Camping Program.  All interested individuals should apply.  The position description is as follows:

Position Title: Camp Counselor I

Salary:  $400 per week

Description:  Officiate athletic events such as softball, basketball, or volleyball.  Assist in the program planning and conducting special programs.  Assist in grounds maintenance.  Assist with weekend coverage of non-FFA groups.

Start Date:  June 3rd, 2013

End Date:  August 2nd, 2013

Benefits:  Three free meals per day and air conditioned lodging.

Requirements:  Counselors must have a current CPR certification by the Red Cross or similar agency.  Priority will be given to applicants with first aid, CPR, and life guard certifications held before interviews.

Note:  Training will be provided in officiating and customer service.

Interested individuals should complete the online application and return it to the state FFA office by February 1, 2013.
