Bill Walker is a 2005
graduate of North Iredell High School in
Olin, North Carolina. His advisor was Mr.
Douglas Prevette. He is the son of Amelia
Walker and the late Bobby Walker. Bill is
currently a Junior at North Carolina State
University majoring in agricultural
education with a minor in animal science.
During his high school career
Bill was very active in his chapter by
participating in career development events
and leadership positions. Bill was a member
of the parliamentary procedure, livestock,
creed, agricultural sales, and dairy judging
career development events. Bill served as
chapter President and a officer for the
Northwest Region. He has received his
greenhand, chapter, state, and American FFA
degrees.
Bill’s Supervised
Agricultural Experience (SAE) program stems
from his family’s beef cattle operation
where he helps manage the herd in all
aspects as well as tending to maintenance of
equipment involved with cattle. Bill also
began a custom hay harvesting business which
earned him a National winning Proficiency
Award.
Bill is an active member of
the Mount Vernon Baptist Church where he is
a member of the young adult Sunday school
class, serves as an usher, and vacation
bible school instructor.
As a State FFA Officer Bill
is excited to serve the members of the state
of North Carolina by showcasing
opportunities within the FFA, and being a
role model for during his year of service.

Groseclose stating “Without labor neither
knowledge or wisdom can accomplish much.”
