It is the
responsibility of the Central Region
Agricultural Education Coordinator to
provide technical assistance and quality
leadership to agricultural programs for both
the public and private schools found within
the East Central, South Central, and West
Central sectors of the state. Schools
range from the Middle Grades through High
School level.
The role of
the Central Region Coordinator is to
encourage agricultural programs to meet all
standards established for a quality
agricultural program in the North Carolina
Agricultural Education Accountability Model
and to work cooperatively with teachers and
administrators to ensure excellence in all
phases of the agricultural program. To
assist in this endeavor; the Central Region
Coordinator provides regional professional
development activities for teachers and as a
cooperative effort provides leadership
development for students.
